Today I have been thinking about exercise.\u00a0<\/h2>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Anyone who has Fibromyalgia, Lupus or other chronic pain issues knows that exercising is never easy for anyone, let alone a person with chronic pain.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Like many of you, I was once a very active human who bounced out of bed first thing, ready to tackle the events of the day. Now, I can barely peel back the covers and sit up. I have to will<\/em> myself to do just about anything anymore and exercise is one of them.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I will<\/em> myself up in the morning by 6:30am, slowly brush my teeth and then, even slower, put on exercise garb<\/a>, and elastic arch bands<\/a> for my feet so I can walk and then hobble downstairs to an exercise room I created last summer. It is equipped with EVA foam flooring<\/a> that I installed myself and an all-in-one exercise machine<\/a> and a large exercise ball, which, after a horrible accident in 2024, where the one had been using split wide open while using it, I crashed down, breaking my coccyx<\/a> in 2 places, I now only use while lying on the floor, haha-click here to see the brand I now use.<\/a><\/p>\n

I also use free-weights<\/a> and a bench.<\/a><\/p>\n

I have elastic bands<\/a> for my arms and an Aridyne bike that my hubby got for me back in 2015 when I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

I have an Amazon Music list<\/a> of good Christian music that I play on shuffle and listen with my favorite ear buds<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The music gives me a sort of worship session of encouragement while I stretch and make myself become useful, if only for a couple of hours. I exercise to keep myself as healthy as possible. Most days it is a mind-over-matter dealio. Well, okay…every day is mind-over-matter, haha.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Some days I can manage a lot; some days I may have silent tears streaming down my face due to the pain. But most days, I manage by praying through it, knowing it is helping me even if it DOES NOT FEEL LIKE IT.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

I am a wife of over 35 years and a Momma of nine blessings on earth, two who still live at home, so I need to keep on keeping on!\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is my prayer for you!!!\u00a0<\/p>\n
