Today is Memorial Day. A time for reflection on those men and women that served The United States and died for our freedom.\u00a0<\/h3>\n

This day should not be taken lightly. Whether this day brings painful memories of loved-ones past, or just a silent gratitude of thankfulness, please take a moment of silence to thank God for those people and for the many mothers and fathers who gave up their children for a mighty cause and for the children who lost a parent or parents, brother or sister, grandparent, uncle or aunt so we could be free. Pray for those serving now, as well. They are our country’s future.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Freedom is NOT FREE. Freedom has a cost.\u00a0<\/h2>\n

Today we may listen to a patriotic song or watch a patriotic war movie about those heroes.\u00a0 May we never take for granted their sacrifice so we could be free. Listen or watch with open hearts.\u00a0<\/h5>\n

America is the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.<\/h2>\n

May God continue to Bless America!<\/h2>\n

My daughter sang a song she wrote with her brother many years ago about those that died for our country. She was 14. All our sons have served or our currently serving in the United States Military.
