For some it means returning to work after a long holiday. For others it means seeing their children off to school after their Christmas break.
For me, it means the beginning of of a new year and back to home schooling!
I’ve home schooled for over 28 years and still enjoy it very much. Reading aloud, learning along with them,\u00a0 watching the light bulb go off when they finally “get it” -all the best!\u00a0<\/p>\n
My Fibromyalgia and Lupus pain have been my constant companion for well over a decade of that. Throw in a Bluegrass Gospel band for a decade and it was quite busy!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Yes, my life has slowed down with sons serving in the USA in the military and most daughters married and running their homes, but my pain never leaves.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Yesterday I had the rug jerked out from underneath me with what I call a “Fibro-headache”… that all-consuming, joint-encompassing pain that HURTS and makes you bed-bound to (try to) sleep it off. Ibuprofen is my friend on these days and, although it doesn’t make it leave completely, it will take the edge off.<\/p>\n
Those are rough days and not the best way to start to year.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
We all know that Fibromyalgia and Lupus don’t take a break, so should I be surprised? (Chuckle of sarcasm).<\/p>\n
Alas, today is a new day and I will take it one moment at a time, leaning of Jesus for strength and endurance.\u00a0 He always delivers!\u00a0<\/p>\n
