I am so done with family that come across as understanding and sympathetic about these conditions I deal with 24/7 and then judge and gossip behind my back.
Fact.
I mean, they see me up and doing, still hosting, still smiling, still moving… and then, once I finally give in to my body and sit for a minute, or lean back on a heating pad to get spine relief to continue on, they think I am being dramatic or seeking attention.
How about them, who have done nothing but sit the entire time they’ve been here. Am I not allowed to sit, too???
It is so exhausting being silently judged by family for how I feel.
NO ONE, absolutely NO ONE will ever understand what these conditions feel like.
How about some thanks that you just ate a meal you didn’t have to cook and sat at a clean table you didn’t have to clean?
Get off your self-righteous pedestal and stop judging me. Or worse… stop the judgement right in front of me while you are texting another person in the same room about me.
Seriously, grow up.
Just because you see me doing, doing, doing doesn’t mean I could do it. But I did do it, and that says a lot about me.
Rant over.
